Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport
Covers over 470,000-square-meters the Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport is projected to serve up to 60 million passengers a year, once two additional runways are completed.
With a 550,000-square-meter main terminal, almost 200 aircraft parking bays, Xiamen Xiang’an International Airport is estimated to serve up to 85 million passengers by 2040.
Currently under construction on the south-eastern coast of China, the spectacular Xiang’an International Airport will provide the city of Xiamen with its second airport.
The new airport – built on Dadeng Island, which had to be doubled in size to accommodate the project – will act as a regional airline hub and an airline portal for cross-strait exchange with Taiwan. The new venture is recognized as an important piece of the jigsaw in Beijing's giant Belt and Road Initiative and a way to promote integrated development in the region.
To ensure convenient pedestrian circulation throughout the entire airport, we’re installing 176 passenger and freight elevators, 100 escalators, and 62 moving walks.
