We systematically evaluate our prospective suppliers and conduct requalification of existing partners, we measure supplier performance on regular basis, we drive supplier corrective actions and improvements throughout supplier lifecycle to achieve overall supply chain performance and ensure resilience.
As a key milestone, we created a global supplier performance management portal (SPM360). This enables our suppliers to be directly involved and integrated into Schindler’s supply chain for real-time collaboration, work on day-to-day supplier management operational activities digitally and continual information sharing.
