June 18, 2026
On November 5, 2024, Schindler launched a share buyback program for registered shares and participation certificates in the combined amount of up to CHF 500 million. On June 17, 2026, the Board of Directors resolved to increase the maximum volume to CHF 700 million. The buyback will last until November 5, 2026, at the latest. The buyback continues to be executed on second trading lines on the SIX Swiss Exchange. The Board of Directors intends to propose capital reductions by canceling the repurchased registered shares and participation certificates at the next Annual General Meeting.
The maximum buyback volume per day in accordance with article 123(1)(c) of the Financial Market Infrastructure Ordinance (FMIO) is 4 524 for registered shares and 23 759 for participation certificates.
Transactions conducted during the buyback program within and outside the program can be viewed in the below referenced PDF-document.
Purchases on the 1st trading line (outside the buyback program) are made for hedging purposes of future share and participation certificates delivery obligations related to employee share-based compensation and participation plans.
