Important alert from Schindler on recruitment fraud
We have become aware that fraudulent entities are impersonating Schindler Group, in order to illicitly obtain confidential data and information through phishing schemes. These schemes often lure individuals into sharing details by advertising false job opportunities at Schindler.
It is our priority to alert potential victims to these fraudulent attempts.
To help you recognize and avoid such malicious activities, please keep the following in mind:
- You can find Schindler career opportunities or job openings on our website, LinkedIn, and external job platforms. All platforms must direct the candidates to the Schindler Career Website.
- If you are contacted by a Schindler employee, note that our email address is @schindler.com.
- Schindler never asks candidates for payment in any form, including cash or gift cards.
- Schindler does not offer any payment before official employment.
If you are contacted by someone who you suspect may be impersonating Schindler personnel, please email our Cyber Security Team at cybersecurityincidents@schindler.com and attach the original phishing email you received.
Please refrain from responding to job offers or employment propositions that come from unreliable sources, and do not share any personal or financial information with them.
We strongly suggest that you also actively report all suspected frauds to your local authorities.
