Ping An Finance Center Shenzhen, China

One of the tallest buildings in the world, standing 599 meters tall, the Ping An Finance Center towers above Shenzhen skyline

Over the past few decades Shenzhen, one of China’s first special economic zones, has seen unprecedented growth – and the iconic Ping An Finance Center epitomizes the city’s fast-paced development. Standing at 599 meters, it’s over 150 meters taller than its nearest rival in the city. It was one of the last mega-tall skyscrapers to be completed before China restricted buildings to a 500 meter limit in 2021.

With 115 floors of office and retail space to service, we installed 33 double-deck Schindler 7000 elevators and our transit management system Schindler PORT to provide efficient transportation, integrated access, and added security throughout the building.
