Ausgewählte Kennzahlen Q1/2010: Schindler auf Erfolgskurs

Im ersten Quartal 2010 erreichte der Konzerngewinn CHF 152 Mio. Im Kerngeschäft konnte der Auftragseingang um 7,5% (+8,1% in Lokalwährungen) auf CHF 2 140 Mio. gesteigert und eine EBIT-Marge von 11,8% erzielt werden.

Aufzugs- und Fahrtreppengeschäft

Der Auftragseingang übertraf die Vorjahresperiode um 7,5% und erreichte CHF 2 140 Mio. (in Lokalwährungen betrug der Anstieg 8,1%). Sämtliche Marktregionen trugen zu diesem Erfolg bei.

Die Betriebsleistung reduzierte sich um 0,3% auf CHF 1 947 Mio. (+0,3% in Lokal-währungen). Das Betriebsergebnis (EBIT) betrug CHF 230 Mio., was einer EBIT-Marge von 11,8% entspricht. Gegenüber der um den einmaligen Buchgewinn von CHF 39 Mio. bereinigten Vergleichsperiode hat sich das Betriebsergebnis um 7,0% verbessert, und die EBIT-Marge konnte von 11,0% auf 11,8% gesteigert werden. Zu diesem Erfolg haben hauptsächlich die frühzeitig ergriffenen Massnahmen zur  Effizienzsteigerung sowie die konsequente Kostendisziplin beigetragen.


ALSO steigerte die Betriebsleistung um 2,4% auf CHF 1 069 Mio. und erzielte mit CHF 7 Mio. einen substanziell höheren Konzerngewinn (Vorjahresperiode CHF 5 Mio.). Diese Leistungsverbesserung ist sowohl auf gezielte Massnahmen zur Stärkung der Ertragskraft als auch auf eine lebhaftere Nachfrage der Firmenanwender zurückzuführen.


Die Betriebsleistung stieg um 0,7% auf CHF 3 016 Mio. (+1,8 % in Lokalwährungen). Der Konzerngewinn erreichte CHF 152 Mio. (Vorjahresperiode CHF 156 Mio.). Bereinigt um den in der Vorjahresperiode erzielten einmaligen Buchgewinn von CHF 31 Mio. stieg der Konzerngewinn um 22%. Das Finanz- und Beteiligungsergebnis betrug CHF -23 Mio. (Vorjahresperiode CHF -41 Mio.). Gegenüber der Vorjahresperiode konnten die negativen Einflüsse aus operativen Währungsabsicherungen stark reduziert werden. Der in der Berichtsperiode erarbeitete Geldfluss aus Geschäftstätigkeit konnte auf hohem Niveau gehalten werden und erreichte CHF 429 Mio. Per 31. März 2010 erreichten die Flüssigen Mittel rund CHF 2.1 Mia.

Ausblick 2010

Aufzüge & Fahrtreppen
Die Entwicklung der Bauwirtschaft, die starken Währungsschwankungen sowie der Anstieg der Materialkosten sind zurzeit schwierig einzuschätzen. Dank des hohen Auftragsbestandes, der intensiven Marktbearbeitung und der wettbewerbsfähigen Produktpalette kann Schindler rasch auf Veränderungen in einzelnen Märkten reagieren.

Aus heutiger Sicht geht ALSO von einem Konzernumsatz auf Vorjahreshöhe und einem deutlich höheren Konzerngewinn aus.

Schindler geht weiterhin davon aus, dass unter Ausklammerung nicht vorhersehbarer Ereignisse und nach Belastung von Restrukturierungskosten der Konzerngewinn leicht rückläufig sein wird.
